Description

The starting point is a concrete request: the school needs a new table. Teachers propose that the children take care of it: what to do? This book recounts the first approaches to the discovery, function, and use of measurement. Children gain access to mathematical thinking through activities of orientation, play, and their choices of relational and descriptive languages. This is from a project in the Diana Preschool, with texts by Loris Malaguzzi.
